"A Brush with Gorillas"

COMPETITION FOR A TITLE

Over a period of a week in 2016, Simon sketched this image of a female

mountain gorilla and her youngster from a beautiful photograph taken

by up and coming photographer Oliver Nicklin. The process of sketching

the image was posted on Social Media each day until it was completed.

The competition was to give the finished sketch a title, with the person

with the winning title receiving a signed limited edition print of the sketch

as a prize. The competition ended at midnight on 24th December 2016

with Oliver Nicklin choosing the winner "Oonagh Puglisi's" title:

 "NDAGUKUNDA"

(Which means "I love you" in Kinyarwanda)
